Rock legends AC/DC are hitting the road in the US next spring for their first headlining tour in nearly a decade. The iconic band will perform at 13 stadiums across the country, starting in Minneapolis on April 10 and wrapping up in Chicago on May 24.
Band members Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Matt Laug, and Chris Chaney will be rocking out in cities like Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Nashville, and Landover. Fans can grab their tickets starting December 6 at noon local time on the band’s official website, acdc.com.
This tour marks AC/DC’s first extended North American run since their 2015-16 Rock or Bust tour, during which Brian Johnson had to step back due to severe hearing loss. He was temporarily replaced by Guns N’ Roses’ Axl Rose, but Johnson rejoined the band in 2018 to record their 2020 album, “Power Up.”
The current lineup thrilled fans with their performance at the 2023 Power Trip festival in Indio, California, playing classics like “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck.” The European leg of their Power Up tour kicked off in May in Germany and continued across Europe throughout the summer.
AC/DC’s “Power Up” album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2020 and featured hits like “Realize” and “Shot in the Dark,” earning Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance for “Shot in the Dark.”
