“Baywatch” star Nicole Eggert recently shared an emotional moment about her breast cancer treatment. The 52-year-old actress revealed that she received small tattoos during a CT scan to prepare for radiation therapy.
In a video posted on Instagram on November 20, Eggert explained her surprise when she found out the tattoos were real. She said, “I didn’t realize it was actual, real tattoos, so I was tatted!” Although the tattoos are just small dots, she tearfully mentioned how every step of the process is a constant reminder of her battle with cancer.
Despite the emotional weight of the situation, Eggert managed to find humor, joking, “My mom’s going to be really proud of my neck tattoo, but that’s ok.”
Eggert was diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform carcinoma breast cancer in 2023. She is the sole caregiver for her 12-year-old daughter, Keegan, and expressed her determination to overcome the illness for her family’s sake.
In August, Eggert provided a health update at the premiere of the documentary, “After Baywatch: Moment in The Sun.” She mentioned that while the treatment process is challenging, she remains hopeful and tries to stay positive.
Eggert continues to prepare for radiation treatment, sharing that she recently went hiking for the first time since her surgery, embracing the journey with enthusiasm.
